EXTENT OF THE LAND
The total extent of the land was 5.71 acres. During the year 1993 the government has acquired a portion of the land measuring about 2.00 acres on the Eastern side, for Krishna water scheme (wide letter of government annexed No – I )
The extent of the land after acquired by the government is 3.77 Acres. Out of this, the owners wants to retain some portion of the land, say about 0.67 acres for their use.
LOCATION OF THE PROJECT
Avadi is situated in the North West region of Chennai. It is located about 30km’s from the heart of Chennai on the main road connecting Chennai and Thirupathi via Thiruvallur. The proposed site is located at about 4.5kms from Avadi on the road connecting Avadi and Redhills via Alamadhi. The site is about 15kms from Ambattur (vide route map annexed No – II) and about 21kms from Poonamallee (vide route map annexed No – II )
The subject land is located about 100mts off 60 feet trunk road connecting AVADI and REDHILLS through Alamadhi village. The project land is about 4.5 km north of AMBATTUR-AVADI main road. The land is approachable through a 20 feet wide road on the northern side and through a 30 ft road of a layout developed in the name of Baskar Nagar. The northern boundary of the land is owned by VELTECH group of institutions. The south side boundary is residential houses and this area is called as Vellanoor Colony. The Eastern boundary of the land is Krishna water canal.
LOCATIONAL ADVANTAGES
The following institutions, factories, commercial establishments are located within 5km radius of this project, AVADI Tank factory, Vel group of institutions, Nasarath college, AVADI township and commercial banks. The New I.T park coming up in Pattabiram is about ten KM from our site.
